Domestic Open Adoption

Adoptions From The Heart is one of the largest placing agencies of domestic infants on the East Coast We pride ourselves on being one of the first agencies in the Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware area to place children by "open" adoption.

Open adoption provides the adoptive parents with the unique opportunity to "get to know" the birth parents of their child, enabling them to answer questions that their children might pose to them as they grow.

We realize that open adoption can be scary to many potential adoptive parents. During the beginning stages of your adoption process you will be given educational classes and the opportunity to discuss these fears and to eliminate any lingering doubts you may have about this type of adoption.

Adoptions From the Heart does require adoptive families to agree to minimal contact (the exchange of first names, and the exchange of pictures and letters through the agency) with the option of more openness more and more families are deciding on fully open adoption.
