We also want to be sure that our clients know that, while international adoption is a beautiful way to build a family, it is not the only option. Often, prospective parents are told that it is incredibly difficult to adopt an infant in the United States and that they will wait years and spend exorbitant amounts of money. However, this isn’t true. On average, prospective parents are matched with their child in less than a year and the expenses associated with domestic adoption are roughly the same as international adoption.
