Joint Council on International Children’s Services: The oldest and largest affiliation of licensed, non profit international adoption agencies in the world. JCICS membership also includes parent groups, advocacy organizations, and individuals who have an interest in intercountry adoption. There is a lot of good information on this site!

FCV: Families with Children from Vietnam: A good resource for families who have adopted or are thinking of adopting their children from Vietnam. They have local chapters all over the country.

Carried in My Heart: This site is dedicated to the well-being of the adopted family by providing adoption support through sharing adoption resources, adoption related community forums and our branded specialty adoption gifts.

Adoptive Parents Committee: The Adoptive Parents Committee (APC) is a non-profit support group comprised of volunteers dedicated to improving all aspects of adoption and interim (foster) care. APC the oldest adoptive parent group in North America was formed in 1955 by a small group of people who shared their adoptive experiences. Today there are more than 1,500 members who belong to one of APC’s four chapters, Long Island, NY city, NJ and CT/Hudson Region. Some of their members are from FL, VA, PA and other states throughout the country.

The American Fertility Association – The American Fertility Association (The AFA) is a leader in providing men and women, health care professionals, public officials and the media, both nationally and internationally, with information about infertility treatments, reproductive and sexual health and family building options including adoption and third-party solutions.

C.A.S.E. – The Center for Adoption Support and Education: C.A.S.E. is an independent non-profit organization offering support and education services which concentrate on the special joys and challenges facing adopted children and their families.

RESOLVE: RESOLVE is a national, non-profit organization that, for more than 20 years, has assisted people in resolving their infertility by providing information, support and advocacy.

Center for Developmental Adoption Medicine – created to serve the increasing necessity to unite multiple disciplines to best serve the needs and issues associated with the adopted child.

International Adoption Medical Clinics – International adoption are great resources for international medical and health, especially if your adopted child has an ailment that is uncommon, not easily diagnosed or difficult to treat. International adoption medical clinics also provide advice on pre-adoption evaluations, immunizations and post adoption medical examinations.

Financing an Adoption

HelpUsAdopt – a national non-profit 501(c)(3) financial assistance grant program providing qualified couples and individuals -regardless of race, ethnicity, marital status, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or disability- with grants of up to $15,000 towards their domestic, international, foster, sibling groups or disabled child adoption expenses.
