The Club is also considered home to a list of prominent golf professionals such as Arnold Palmer, Sam Snead, Ben Hogan, and many others.

History
The beginning of the Chartiers Country Club dates back to its founding in 1924. Golf was first played back in the early 1900s in Chartiers Valley on a six-hole course, located in Thornburg.
Thornburg residents decided to form an unchartered golf club around the small golf course, which grew into the Country Club you can now join and be a part of.
Golf
Today, members appreciate an 18-hole legendary Championship golf course, designed by Willie Park, and updated in the early 1990s by Arthur Hills. Onsite, there is a Pro Shop to assist you with anything you need, stocked with a variety of high-quality golf merchandise and equipment.
Pool
In the summer, members tend to flock over to the largely oversized swimming pool to cool off along with plenty of shaded seating as well as a designated children’s pool nearby.
Dining
