Hi! We are Amanda and Ihab. Thank you so much for taking the time to view our profile and pictures. We believe adoption is a wonderful way to build a family and understand this is one of the hardest decisions of your life. An open adoption is our hope for our family, and we look forward to building a relationship with you.
We first met in seventh grade German class. We continued to be friends throughout high school and college, and when we both moved back to our hometown after completing our undergraduate degrees, we began dating. After four years of dating we were married on the anniversary of our first date. We love our Pennsylvania hometown so much that we decided to stay in the area and build a home close to all of our family and friends. Our family and friends are a wonderful support and they are all very excited for us to adopt a child.
Ihab is a family doctor in our community and works with patients of all ages. He really enjoys building relationships with his patients and helping others. Amanda is an English teacher in the same high school she and Ihab attended. She loves to read and hopes to inspire youth every day.
We love to spend time together hiking, taking walks with our dog Gus, going on adventures, experiencing new things, and spending time with our family and friends. Any time we get together is always filled with laughter and we truly enjoy our family time. We are wholeheartedly eager to add another member to our family and to share all the love that we have.
