2590 aHi, we’re Mike and Leslie. Thank you so much for taking the time to look at our profile and getting to know us a little better. We admire your strength at this time as you consider an adoption plan for your child. We are so excited to start our family through open adoption and look forward to parenting with love in a home full of warmth, kindness and laughter.

Leslie is a Labor and Delivery Nurse at a local hospital. It’s really special to be a part of such an important moment in so many people’s lives. Mike works for a local non-profit agency. He works in the Weatherization Department where he manages projects that help low income people lower their electric and heating bills. He really enjoys having the opportunity to make a difference by helping people improve their lives and their homes by making them safer, more comfortable and less expensive to live in.

We have been together for 14 years, married for 6. We enjoy cooking (Mike is the chef in the family), playing with our dogs Bella and Henry, hiking, biking, gardening, trips to the beach and to Oregon to visit friends and family there.  We love exploring new places and doing new things and can’t wait to start sharing these experiences with a child. Both of us grew up in generous, loving and supportive families that encouraged us to follow our dreams.  We know we will help our child to reach for the stars and love them unconditionally as they grow.

After years of trying to conceive naturally we have decided that for us being parents is the most important thing and open adoption allows us fulfill this dream.  We have so much love to give and truly understand the importance of adoption and the special gift it brings in allowing us to be parents
