Heidi is the executive director of Adoptions From The Heart. Heidi has been part of AFTH since the beginning and has had different roles in the company. Heidi’s mother is an adoptee, so she understands the impact of close adoptions and why open adoption is so important.

Stephen has been on the AFTH Board team for a few years and is the board’s chairman. Stephen has a background in marketing and advertising. While he has to personal connections to adoption, he understands the importance of continued birth mother’s involvement in the child’s life. He joined the AFTH board of directors to be a part of an organization that helps create beautiful, loving families.

Ray is an Adoptive parent and treasurer of AFTH’s board of directors. Ray is a commercial finance director for Thermo Fisher Scientific. He adopted through AFTH and wants to give back to the organization that helped him form his family. We are so excited to have Ray as part of our Board of Directors!

SeAyra is a Birth Mother through AFTH’s Delaware office and placed her child for adoption in 2016. SeAyra has spoken at panels with other birth parents, she is also a member of AFTH’s Birth Parent support group and has participated in AFTH’s videos and podcast episodes. She brings a great perspective to our board of directors.

Liz is an Adoptee and Adoption Social Worker at Liz Wade Adoptions, LLC. Liz has a great perspective as an adoptee in the adoption world and we are so happy to have her as part of our Board of Directors!

Michael is an Adoptive father to two kids and he is the Executive Director at Stokes Counseling Service, LLC. He is a licensed therapist who has served as an adoption/foster care clinician for a number of years treating many adoptees and their families.

Aaron is an Adoptive father to twins; He adopted through AFTH and wants to give back to the organization that helped him form his family.

Timothy is an Adoptive Parent and CEO of Capital Area School for the Arts Charter. He loves the AFTH annual family picnic where the adoption triad is celebrated. Timothy shares AFTH’s mission and supports it’s work as a nonprofit.

Kim is an Adoptive Parent and VP, CIO Transformation and Strategy at Kyndryl. Kim became a part of AFTH’s Board of Directors as an opportunity to give back to the organization that helped her and her partner start their family.

Andy is an adoptive father and Reinsurance Manager at Liberty Mutual Insurance. Andy joined the board of directors at AFTH to get involved with a group with a mission he strongly supports.
