Adoptions From The Heart is excited to announce our first ever Fall Fest event located at Rose Tree Park in Media, PA on Sunday November 3rd. Admission is free and invites all families within the community, clients, and those who want to support a great cause. The event will be from 11am-4pm. Proceeds from this event will go towards AFTH programs & services in support of our Birth Parent Scholarship & Support Fund.
Where does the money raised go towards?
Money raised from the Fall Festival will go towards Adoptions From the Heart programs and services. We provide educational courses for expectant & birth parents and waiting & adoptive parents. One of our funds that we hope to support is our Birth Parent Scholarship Fund. This fund helps Birth Parents who have placed their baby for adoption a chance to continue their education and support their tuition. Activities at the Event
At our Fall Festival we will have 35 or more local craft vendors who will bring their artwork to sell at the event. This way the community can support our local artists and get a head start on their holiday shopping.
Along with craft vendors we will have free kids activities, such as fall bowling, connect four, corn hole, and more. There will be other activities such as carnival games, inflatable moon bounces, inflatable interactive games, pumpkin painting and more!
There will also be a family photo station where families can take their portraits done and can choose from a Fall backdrop or a winter backdrop.
Also November will be National Adoptions Month so in celebration we will have our Paper Heart Project. There will be a backdrop where people can purchase paper hearts for $1 and put their name on a paper heart and add it to our wall. This provides a great photo opportunity and see all the support from our community!
There will also be live music for people as they attend the event. We will also have raffle baskets that families could win at the end of the event.

Volunteers: If you would like to get involved we are also looking for volunteers to help out with our event. Some of the volunteer positions we are looking for are parking/traffic control, activity leaders, set up, vendor liaison, event breakdown. Volunteers will work 4 hour shifts.
