AFTH Spring and Summer Ed Series classes are coming up quickly.  Every semester, a range of courses taught by social workers and specialists on topics families will find interesting will be available.  A number of educational courses, talks, and seminars are intended to help and support families and children. These Classes provide information for adoptive parents as they go through the adoption process. The spring class dates are:

There are also easy-access on-demand online webinars offered. For prospective adoptive parents and their families, CEU training for nurses and social workers as well as particular adoption-related topics are provided.

Childcare class

In collaboration with New Parents Academy, AFTH is offering a 4-hour course that covers the topics of Baby Gear, Newborn Care, Soothing, Newborn Sleep, Bonding, and more.

Prenatal Drug & Exposure- July 15th, and October 12th

            This on-demand webinar educates families on both the effects of drug and alcohol use during pregnancy along with withdrawal symptoms and the short and long-term effects of exposure to the newborn.
