If you decide to move forward with adoption, we work with you to get you the full medical care that you need, connect you with a support group, and give you access to our database of waiting families. If you desire, you can pick the adoptive family and you can also determine how much contact you would like to have with them in the future. In open adoption, depending on what the birth mother decides, contact may be as simple as yearly letters with pictures and an update, or visits from time to time. The choice is entirely yours.

Although not everyone is eligible, AFTH is proud to offer a scholarship program for those who have given their child up for adoption. This scholarship can be used for trade school or an undergraduate degree.
