Pittsburgh has an assortment of gorgeous parks and recreational centers for families to enjoy. Today we will be sharing one of our favorite parks to bring our children, Clever Park.
Clever Park is located in the Robinson neighborhood near the local mall. You’ll have access to a large playground in the park, a community pool, basketball courts, tennis courts, and grassy areas for other activities.
With the park’s last upgrade back in 2014, it has exciting play equipment such as wooden structures, better quality slides, swinging ropes, tire swings, and monkey bars.
Park Amenities
As mentioned above, the park boasts a diverse amount of entertaining activities for the whole family to enjoy. The swimming pool is open to the public and allows children of all ages, supervised, of course, to swim during hours of operation.
There is a fee to access the pool, which you can find online on their website. Guests and locals can choose from single day pool passes or seasonal.
Choose from the many sports activities available such as tennis courts, basketball courts, a ball field, and a volleyball court for you and your friends and family to spend the day getting in exercise and bonding over your favorite sports games.
The park also showcases two picnic shelters, the Bicentennial that accommodates up to 100 people, and the Rotary Shelter that accommodates up to 300 people. Both of these picnic areas are ideal for family parties, birthdays, special events, and much more.
