The North Philadelphia adoption agency sponsors this article at Adoptions From The Heart.
Philadelphia brings a variety of neighborhood Italian favorites from all over the city, and we would like to share our two most recommended establishments for your enjoyment.
Angelino’s Restaurant
Angelino’s is a family-owned and operated restaurant that serves the North Philadelphia neighborhood traditional Italian dishes like their Chicken Parmesan, house-made lasagna, Vodka Sauce Penne Prosciutto, and many other classic favorites.
Located in the Art Museum/ Fairmount section of Philadelphia, Angelino’s has been committed to serving residents and visitors delicious Italian cuisine since 2006. The BYOB restaurant has a casual and welcoming atmosphere perfect for families, visitors, and locals alike.
Voted “Neighborhood Favorite,” they stand by their title with raving reviews online and a list of menu items that’ll have you coming back for more.
Cicala
This upscale restaurant is owned and operated by Executive Chef Joe Cicala and Pastry Chef Angela Cicala. Chef Joe Cicala grew up in an Italian-American household and discovered his passion for cooking authentic Italian cuisine with help from his mother and grandmother.
At a young age, he moved to Italy in hopes of starting his career as an apprentice under a famous chef in one of Italy’s famous restaurants. After years of perfecting his skills, he successfully opened Cicala here in Philadelphia and continues to share his love for food with his guests.
What makes Cicala one of our favorites aside from its food? They also offer Italian baking secrets in cooking classes for guests to enjoy and learn to prepare authentic Italian sweets like Sicilian Cannoli.
Find more information online regarding their special cooking classes and sign up with a few friends for an unforgettable experience and skills you can take home with you.
