Since 2011, Adoptions From The Heart has been raising awareness about adoption in our local communities.
The Paper Heart Project was created to spread awareness while raising funds for AFTH’s Birth Parent Fund.
In our first year we successfully raised over $800 for our fund. This year, we have 22 groups and businesses helping us spread awareness over five states as well as online sales happening every day. We hope to spread awareness and raise funds with YOUR help! You can visit one of the local businesses who are participating or you can purchase a heart through our website or in your local office. Just donate $1 (or more if you would like) and the donations received will go directly to our Birth Parent Fund.
How Does The Birth Parent Fund Work?
The Birth Parent Fund supports men and women who have worked with Adoptions From The Heart both during and after their pregnancy. AFTH has worked with thousands of pregnant women considering adoption. Each person is facing unique challenges and many find themselves in need of a little additional financial support to help with housing, food, transportation, etc. in order to regain their footing. Those in need are not demanding financial help but are silently trying to find a way out. A little financial relief from difficult circumstances can make a huge difference and AFTH has seen it propel men and women into a better place with ongoing stability.
We’d like to thank each of our participants this year for spreading awareness with us!
