4255_1Hi. We’re Alex and Ryan, and we’d like to thank you for taking the time to consider us as you make this important decision. We are extremely excited to be expanding our family through open adoption, and we hope that our profile helps you get a sense of our loving family.

We have discussed becoming parents since we started dating in 2006. We were married in 2011 and are now looking forward to bringing a child into our family through open adoption.

When we become parents, we hope to provide our child with every opportunity possible. We were both fortunate to earn graduate degrees from Ivy League schools and we both work in education, so one of our priorities will be ensuring our child receives the best education possible.

Some of our favorite hobbies, which we look forward to sharing with our child, include traveling, skiing, and fishing. Ryan’s family is from Montana and spends lots of time in the outdoors; so family trips often include outdoor adventures such as backpacking or sailing. Alex’s family lives in Rhode Island and loves to travel abroad. Our parents believed in sharing the world with us through travel and we look forward to doing the same when we become parents.

Above all, we promise to provide a loving and supportive home for your baby. Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about us. We look forward to building a relationship with you through letters, pictures and a yearly visit, if that is comfortable for you. We wish you the best as you create your adoption plan.
