6175 aHello.  My name is Stephanie, and the beautiful little boy with me is David.  We are a family that was created through adoption and we are excited to grow in the same way.  Thank you for considering an adoption plan for your baby and for including us in your thoughts.

I am a mother and a doctor, and I love both parts of my life because both involve caring for children.  As a pediatric surgeon, I perform healing operations that save and enhance the lives of babies, toddlers, and adolescents.  At home, I get to love David completely and unconditionally.  He makes me smile with every thought of him, and I am grateful that he is in my life.  My heart is open and ready for a second child to nurture and cherish, and for David to love as a sister or brother.

I was fortunate to have had parents who encouraged my dream of becoming a doctor and, through education and travel, helped me understand the work required to reach my goal.  So it is natural that I find myself planning fun and interesting experiences with David that expand his imagination and help him develop resourcefulness and thoughtfulness.  More importantly, I look for things that will help to keep him the joyful little person that he is.  How special it would be for us to share these experiences with a second beautiful child!
