We start the fall season with Thanksgiving. During that time, we give thanks to our family and friends. We spoil ourselves or prepare our future holiday gifts on Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The Tuesday after Thanksgiving, December 3, 2019, is known as Giving Tuesday. Hashtag activism incorporates #GivingTuesday in an attempt to create a movement trying to create an international day of charitable giving. We start the fall season giving thanks. Therefore, Giving Tuesday couldn’t be more appropriate. The charitable day provides an opportunity to end on a giving-back note.
