“AFTH is hosting the Heart-to-Heart with The Adoption Community Event as a way to bring together our community during National Adoption Month”

November is National Adoption month

A month that was originally created to raise awareness about the urgent need for adoptive families for children and youth in foster care. Now, National Adoption Month is also used as a way to celebrate the beautiful families adoption has created and break down stigmas related to adoption.

Adoptions From The Heart has been celebrating National Adoption Month for many years, and this year is no exception. AFTH will be hosting their Heart-to-Heart with The Adoption Community event on November 10th from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm as part of the month long celebration. The Heart-to-Heart event is certainly open for everyone with ties to adoption. Join this LIVE conversation to learn more about AFTH Birth Parents, Adoptees, Adoptive Parents and other members of the community. We are coming together to celebrate the beauty of adoption and challenges some may face.

This event is part of the Heart-to-Heart series, a series of event educating and bringing down stigmas around adoption. Participants do not need to be part of the adoption triad to attend this event. We welcome anyone to come and learn more about what adoption is and the importance of representation in adoption.

Proceeds From  The Event

While the Heart-to-Heart event is a free to attend, we welcome donations! All proceeds from this event will go directly to AFTH’s program and services, which include options counseling for women, workshops, support groups and more.
