Our New Jersey adoption professionals love taking family trips to the variety of ice cream and water ice shops in Haddonfield and throughout South Jersey. Sweet Charlie’s Ice Cream

Sweet Charlie’s is a small ice cream shop that offers options for people of all dietary preferences – including traditional ice cream, vegan ice cream, and frozen yogurt. This is a chain shop, so if you’ve been to another Sweet Charlie’s, you know that you can expect good quality here. They specialize in the trendy rolled ice cream style and have a wide range of flavors and toppings so that everyone in your party can create their own perfect treat.

Gelato Dolceria

Gelato Dolceria is probably our favorite spot for a frozen dessert in the summertime. They offer a wide range of gelato flavors, including both traditional Italian styles and Americanized ones. This shop has some of the richest ice cream we’ve ever tasted and is a favorite of the whole family. They play Italian music and have it decorated like a hole-in-the-wall place you’d expect to find in Italy, which makes for the perfect ambiance. You can also enjoy some delicious Italian pastries and authentic espresso during your visit here.

Gracie’s Water Ice & Ice Cream

Gracie’s is a simple neighborhood ice cream shop which serves Bassett’s ice cream in several flavors, along with soft serve ice cream and homemade water ice. They’re located right in Haddonfield Downtown Square, so our family likes to stop in here when we’re out in town on a hot day.

Cherry’s Ice Cream & Water Ice

When we’re in Cherry Hill, we like to stop at Cherry’s Ice Cream & Water Ice. This cheap, simple ice cream shop is great for a casual stop when you just want to pick up a quick frozen treat. They offer soft serve ice cream and water ice – or you can combine the two to make a gelati.

Primo Water Ice

Located in Westmont, Haddon Township, Primo Water Ice offers some of our favorite water ice in South Jersey. They also make some incredible ice cream cakes, which are perfect for birthdays, graduations, and other celebrations.
