If you have recently discovered that you are pregnant and this pregnancy was not planned, you’re likely experiencing a range of emotions. At Adoptions From The Heart, we understand how confusing and stressful this time can be and we want every woman to fully understand each option available to her.

If you move forward with the adoption process, you will be assigned a counselor who can help you find housing, obtain medical care for both you and your child, fill out the necessary insurance paperwork, create a hospital plan for after the birth, and provide you with access to an attorney who can answer your legal questions.

If you would like to choose open adoption, that is a possibility. You can determine exactly how much contact will be had with the adoptive family and your child in the future. For example, this might include letters, phone calls, or an annual visit at our yearly picnic. The details of the open adoption will be worked out prior to the finalization.

Throughout the entire process, you will have access to support groups made up of other pregnant women or those who have already placed a child up for adoption. This resource is available to you for as long as you need it.
