Our annual Family Picnics are back! For 35 years, the Family Picnics have been a time for families to come together and celebrate adoption. AFTH will bring the snacks, arts & crafts, and more! All that our families have to do is show up for some fun! We will have five picnics in total throughout June & August to celebrate 40 years of AFTH.
Summer of 2025 Family Picnics
Considering our many offices across the East Coast, we hold a picnic for as many locations as possible. This summer, each AFTH location will have its own picnic besides our Wynnewood, Cherry Hill, and Wilmington offices, which will share a picnic due to their close proximity. This means for our AFTH families in Connecticut, Virginia, NYC, and Pittsburgh, there will be a Family Picnic at a playground near you this Summer!
But first, let’s take a trip down memory lane as we look at some great times from our previous picnics.
Annual Family Picnics Over the Years
This picnic celebrated 15 years of Adoptions from the Heart. Full of adorable faces and beautiful families, the picnic was a blast!
Our 2005 picnic celebrated 20 years of AFTH and, per usual, featured so many of our gorgeous families. We even had a few of our international families come to party!
We are so lucky to watch our kids grow up throughout these annual picnics. AFTH adores the community we’ve built and the many families who visit us!
Join the 2025 Family Fun
As mentioned, this year’s picnics feature treats and fun activities! Below are the details for each picnic, including their flyers and registration deadlines. Birth parents will not be invited without their adoptive family’s request. For adoptive families who want their birth parents to join the fun, please provide us with an invitation and a separate (confidential) note with your name and their name(s). We will pass your invitation over promptly before the picnic, as long as you send us this information in a timely manner.
