While the Lehigh Valley may not have the same reputation as the Napa Valley for premium wines, this area of the country is actually full of excellent wineries. Our Allentown adoption agents love unwinding at the establishments near Fogelsville during the weekends – especially during the spring and summer when you can drink outdoors. Some of our favorite wineries in this region include:

Vynecrest Winery

Vynecrest Winery is one of our favorites in the Lehigh Valley. They offer an excellent selection of wine choices, from affordable $15 bottles to higher end ones, if you’re looking to splurge. There is also live music every Saturday, which creates a perfect atmosphere for enjoying your drinks. You can buy by the glass at the wine bar (just $5 per glass for any variety) and enjoy light appetizers, including local cheese from September Farms. During the warmer months, the covered outdoor patio makes for a great setting to enjoy delicious wine in the sun.

Hackett Winery

Hackett Wine offers a small selection of delicious wines, with impeccable service and beautiful ambiance. The tasting room is housed in a repurposed barn. Owner Bob Hackett is frequently on site and will pour your wine for you while explaining the process behind making it. The Hackett family understands that quality wine is about quality grapes, and a great deal of love and attention goes into growing and preparing theirs.
