Nick is a geology professor at a small college, and Kelley is an environmental educator at a local nature center. We love to be outdoors, and many of our hobbies, like skiing, hiking, visiting museums and parks take us to interesting and beautiful places. We are people of faith- Nick is a practicing Catholic and Kelley is an active member of the Lutheran church. We worship together regularly. Our home has a big backyard, which will be a great place to play. We have one dog, who can hardly wait to have a little friend to play with.

We are committed to approaching adoption with open hearts and open minds. We promise to remain focused on working with you to create a positive relationship, with your child at the center. You can expect us to act with honesty, respect, and integrity. We would like to exchange photos and letters with you so that you will know how your child is doing as he or she grows. We would be happy to have up to two visits with you and your child each year. If you choose us to parent your child, please know that we will strive always to be worthy of your trust and that we will do our very best to be parents who are worthy of your child. We admire your courageous heart, and wish you the best.
