Before, during, and after placement, our Lancaster adoption professionals will guide you through your options with compassion and care. Our counselors are available 24 / 7 to ensure that you make the right choices for yourself and your children.
If you choose adoption with us, Adoptions From The Heart will handle all insurance matters. Whether or not you have insurance coverage currently, our adoption professionals will file your insurance claims, or pay for your pre-natal hospital expenses if no insurance can be provided.

Adoptions From The Heart is a private, 501 C-3 non-profit, non-sectarian adoption agency with an office conveniently located in Lancaster PA. Since 1985, our adoption professionals have been helping to connect birth mothers to prospective parents.
Although many prospective parents believe that domestic adoption is nearly impossible, this couldn’t be further from the truth. Each year, more than 18,000 children are adopted domestically in the U.S. and the majority of prospective parents are matched with their child in less than a year.

- Find Her Footing 5k: Each year, AFTH raises money for the AFTH Expecting and Birthparent Support Fund. This fund helps women face their unique housing, food, and transportation challenges.
- Share Your Heart Benefit Concert: This four-hour event helps to kick off National Adoption Month and helps to support the Birth Parent Scholarship Fund, which helps birth parents seek a college degree.
- Zumba-thon: Another fundraiser, this fun dance-filled day supports the Expecting and Birth Parent Support Fund. Burn some calories and help raise awareness!
- AFTH Annual Picnic: During our family picnic, adoptive families and birth families reunite to visit. It’s a great way for adoptees and birth parents to meet without feeling incredible pressure.
