If you’re like our Connecticut adoption professionals, stopping for a cup of coffee is part of your morning routine. We love visiting the variety of unique coffeehouses and cafes scattered throughout the Glastonbury area. Sometimes we just get a cup to go, but other times we like to sit down and have a quick breakfast before we head into the office. Here are some of our favorite cafes and coffeehouses in Glastonbury:

Berkins Blend Cafe

Located just outside of downtown Glastonbury, this cozy cafe is a great place to stop for a quiet cup of coffee or breakfast while avoiding the hectic traffic of downtown. We love pairing one of their delicious coffee or tea options with a bowl of oatmeal or baked good.

Some of our favorite things to order at Berkins Blend Cafe include:

  • Mocha Blanca Latte
  • Chai Tea Latte
  • Hot Soup and Crackers
  • Vegan Oatmeal Fruit Bars
  • Iced Americano

Down to Earth Tea & Coffee House

Down to Earth has everything you want in a cafe – a wide selection of coffee and tea options, baked goods, and soups, salads, and sandwiches. This makes a fine choice for quick coffee/breakfast stop on the way into the office or for a lunch break. If you’re a remote worker, then the free Wifi and a large selection of tables also make this a good workspace. They also have some tabletop games which can be a fun way to bond with a friend or family member over a cup of tea or coffee.

Daybreak Coffee Roasters

Located on Main Street in the heart of downtown Glastonbury, Daybreak Coffee Roasters is one of our favorite places to grab a cup of coffee or tea, along with a fresh pastry. They have a diverse selection of beverages, along with impressive menus for both breakfast and lunch.

Some of our favorite drinks to order at Daybreak Coffee Roasters include:

  • Bacio (chocolate and hazelnut)
  • Chocolate Cinnamon Swirl
  • Daybreak Breakfast Blend
  • Ethiopian Fair Trade Organic Decaf
  • Black Tea with Ginger

RaonJena Coffee & Dessert

The coffee is amazing here, but we think the pastries might be even better. If you’re the type that likes to pair your hot caffeinated beverage with a soft, flaky, and flavorful pastry, then this is the coffee shop for you. We’re big fans of their macaroons, which come in fun flavors like mango coconut and strawberry pistachio. They pair great with a nice cappuccino or Americano.

So G Coffee Roasters

Located in South Glastonbury, So G Coffee Roasters is a great place to stop for a cup of coffee and am uffin. They also sell bags of their coffee beans so you can pick one up and brew your own at home in the morning without needing to stop anywhere on the way to work.
