We are excited to bring back our summer picnics!
The Adoptions From The Heart Summer Picnics are back this year with the opportunity for families to come together in celebration of adoption.
We encourage waiting families to attend the family picnics. If you are a placed family and inviting your child’s birth family, please send a letter of invitation for us to pass along. Include a separate confidential note to our staff with your full name and birth parent’s name. Be sure to send it in enough time for us to forward to your child’s birth parent & receive a response.
NOTE: Birth parents will not be invited without adoptive parent initiation. An invitation to birth families is kept in your child’s record.
Virginia Picnic:
June 1st 2024 | 11am-1pm – Chesapeake City Park (Fun Forest)

Please RSVP by June 7th with your social worker. We will be providing snacks, games, arts & crafts, ice cream for each child, and a family portrait.
Pittsburgh Picnic:
