AFTH TV Recognizes National Infertility Awareness Week In Latest Episode

This week is National Infertility Awareness Week (NIAW). National Infertility Awareness Week was founded in 1989 by RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association. The goal of NIAW is to get rid of the stigma surrounding infertility by raising awareness about the disease. By encouraging others to speak out about the disease, we will learn that the diagnosis infertility are more common than we realize.

Michaelina Bendig, BA is an adoption counselor who works out of the AFTH Wynnewood, PA office. Michaelina has been through many highs and lows within her journey to becoming a parent. One of her lowest points was infertility. For NIAW Michaelina takes time to touch on all the emotions that go along with infertility. Check out the episode below:
