Fall 2020 Birth Parent Scholarship application deadline reminder

Calling all Birth Parents! It’s not too late to apply for the Fall 2020 Birth Parent Scholarship

Our Adoptions From The Heart (AFTH) Birth Parent Scholarship board is currently accepting applications for the upcoming Fall 2020 semester. Since 2016 the board will unite weeks before the start of the respective fall and spring academic semesters to review the essays sent in by birth parents throughout the country. All birth parents who wish to pursue an education in undergraduate, graduate, or attend a trade school are eligible to apply.

The scholarship board does not exempt birth parents who placed a child for adoption through another agency. The only restriction in place is that all applicants must be those who placed a child for adoption between 1985 and now. One must also provide documentation showcasing their need for financial assistance.
