Hi! We are Christine and Glen. Thank you for taking the time to get to know us a bit better. We have so much respect for you for choosing life, and are very excited about the idea of open adoption. We’re hoping our profile gives you a glimpse into who we are.
We were introduced through a friend six years ago, and from that very first night there was an instant connection. We’ve now been happily married going on two years, and have truly found best friends in each other. Our relationship is based on love, mutual respect, communication, trust, and laughter. We are always trying to find the humor in any situation.
Our story is uncommon because we knew going down the aisle that adoption was how we were going to grow our family. We discussed very early on that we would be unable to conceive a child naturally. Knowing this has allowed us to start this journey with eyes wide open, excited about what our future would bring.
Christine works in reception and event coordination for a large veterinary hospital. Glen works as a civilian engineer for the U.S. Navy. We both feel very lucky that we get fulfillment and joy out of our careers.
Our families are very important to us both. We are lucky to have them all nearby, and enjoy the close bonds that come from seeing them on a weekly basis.
