November is National Adoption Month! Each year, the month of November is dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of adoption and celebrating families who have adopted children, individuals who have placed children, adoptees themselves, and the community as a whole. National Adoption Month began as a week-long celebration in Massachusetts in 1976. Since then, it has evolved into a month-long celebration, honoring those who have embarked on this journey of creating beautiful families through adoption. At Adoptions From The Heart, National Adoption Month provides an opportunity for us to highlight client voices, community members, and the services we provide as an agency as a means to educate why open adoption is the best practice.
This November, Adoptions from The Heart is kicking off the month with exciting events, an ALL NEW season of AFTHtv, and, as always, amazing ways for you to get involved. So, without further or do, let’s dive into all things happening this National Adoption Month!
We are thrilled to announce the launch of Season 14 of AFTHtv, the web series dedicated to all things open adoption. In this season, we will be continuing to speak with clients and professionals to bring you the latest insights and information about the adoption process.
AFTHtv is designed to provide valuable resources and support to parents and families who are considering adoption, as well as to professionals who work in the adoption field.
Throughout Season 14, we will continue exploring various topics and the emotional and practical aspects of building a family through adoption. We hope that you will join us for this exciting new season and that you will find the information and resources you need to make informed decisions about your adoption journey.

We also have two very special events happening this month! On November 2nd, we have our live webinar featuring the complete adoption triad, who will discuss their unique experiences in their adoption journeys. Each member will share their personal story, providing valuable insight into the complex and emotional world of adoption, including challenges they’ve faced, emotions they’ve felt, and lessons they’ve learned. They will also share their insights on what they believe are the most critical elements of a successful adoption.

We’ve also partnered with Kendra Scott, a fashion jewelry brand, for a fundraiser this upcoming November 11th! This collaboration aims to raise funds for Adoptions From The Heart for the services and programs provided to our wonderful clients and families, as well as exciting events and opportunities to continue bringing families together.
