The SEPTA is also a trolley that runs along major streets and roads such as Girard Avenue and Richmond Street.
For smaller commutes, residents take advantage of the increased additions of bicycle lanes across the city that connect to Fishtown, Port Richmond, and on high-traffic avenues such as Delaware Avenue and Frankford Avenue. With the completion of the Girard Avenue Interchange Improvement Project, more bicycle lanes and pedestrian routes plan to be built in the near future.
